Vermont Rail in ACTION
Canadian Pacific Railroad rock extra. Washouts on the
CP lines in New York state resulted in a rock extra to
Lyndonville where it was loaded at the newly opened
Calkin siding. The rock extra originated in Montreal and
operated to Lyndonville over the former CP Vermont lines
now owned by the Maine Montreal and Atlantic and the
State of Vermont, operated by the Washington County
Railroad.
